Tiptapp is a new way of moving things around. Our app matches you in real-time to other users that have extra space in their vehicle and time to give your stuff a ride from a to b. You get instant help with deliveries, shopping, moves and recycling of items of any size. This way we help users to cope with everyday logistics while providing a source of extra income for others. By decreasing the number of cars on the road and increasing reuse and recycle rates, we directly contribute to reducing the environmental impact in the cities where we operate.
Tiptapp launched in Stockholm in 2016 and is backed by prominent marketplace investors. We operate across Sweden, London and Lisbon with +300,000 users and have been growing quickly since our inception. 2020 was our first profitable year and we are now preparing the company for rapid international expansion. About the role
You will work closely with the whole team, participating in the full cycle of ideation, strategy formulation, execution and evaluation of our business, offering you full insight into the day-to-day of a leading Nordic consumer technology startup. You will work on Tiptapp’s key strategic projects in areas like:
Business & product development
We are a remote-first company and offer all employees the possibility to use the WeWork coworking space in central Stockholm. Candidates should expect to be able to work 20 hours/week with flexibility to work less during intensive study periods. The internship is paid and for good candidates there will be opportunities for future full-time roles.
We look for people with the high analytical ability and flexibility necessary to efficiently formulate and evaluate business opportunities with a hypothesis-driven mindset. You are comfortable doing quantitative analysis using spreadsheets and statistical software, and preferably have experience working with SQL. You are an action-oriented self-starter who enjoys both formulating ideas and then getting them done. You are creative and communicative, able to critically reformulate ideas and effectively communicate them to others. You are passionate about technology, marketplaces and the collaborative economy. Experience from the German, Portuguese or other European languages & markets is a big plus.
